So here I was working a Friday night five till close after a week off over the christmas period. Sticking to the point my eyes were watching the door as the evening passed by, a fairly busy one for the holiday period but relaxed as the authority was out that night. Stressed out my head and a certain lack of glasses saw him enter at about tennish, yes I knew he had entered but of course playing the game didn’t show my interest and carried on my duties behind the bar, his father entered about a half hour before so I knew Malcolm was due.
So his turn came to be served and we talked, yes I get larrie when I am stressed so provoked rather interestingly kind of flirtatious conversation. He enquired to where I had been the past week and so forth and I questioned his inviter to that certain drink he had brought up a week before hand. This mood carried till close (11.00 time at the bar), and the result was I would meet him later after I had finished at a neighbouring bar with a later licence.
After a quick drink after my shift I progressed to the neighbouring pub to find him with another few locals I know and am friendly with. Had to shake off a guy who fancies me like hell, but after a brief chat and a ‘how do you do’ they left, leaving Malcolm and myself to ourselves.
I had bought two pints for myself, which I swiftly downed after a busy night, and he offered my third. We enquired about each other lives outside of my pub and I discovered that he had ‘a mad crush on me’. The chemistry was obvious, though he couldn’t believe I was only eighteen, I didn’t care, I thought he was younger himself but my urges were getting stronger.
It was all in the eyes; so were last orders. The atmosphere to leave the pub was heavy so three options:
1. Drive me home, but he was probably over the limit.
2. Drive back to his, but again over the limit.
3. Go back to where he was staying?..
Of course it was the third option, I’m not stupid guessing what he wanted. Well conveniently he was only staying across the road with his father where he does regularly. So it was brandy and a demonstration of certain computer work that distracted us for an hour or so…
